Ronald Peiluck (1942-2021)
FOUNDER AND CEO
Ron held a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Johns College majoring in Chemistry, Microbiology and Earth Sciences. He successfully completed the one-year MBA program at the University of Western Ontario majoring in marketing and finance. Following three years of graduate studies and applied research at the universities of Saskatchewan and Manitoba, he obtained his Masters of Arts in Resource Planning. His thesis on the development of a biophysical classification for water and land use planning contributed to the implementation of a $25 million Federal/Provincial mapping program in the 1970’s. During the 90’s, Ron passed his National exams and became a professional member of the organization chosen to govern CSA environmental site assessments.
After two years of advising senior politicians and bureaucrats in the Province of Manitoba, he started his own consulting firm. Under his direction as President, it became the largest landscape architectural based environmental, town planning and civil engineering consulting consortium in Canada. Over a 15-year period the company established six branch offices across Canada. Many of the related projects won distinguished awards and are visible landmarks in Canada including the twinning of the Trans Canada Highway through Banff National Park, $350 million Kananaskis Country, Silver Springs Golf and Country Club, Mount Royal College and Fish Creek Park are notable examples.
Between 1973 and 1995, Ron completed numerous consulting assignments for the Alberta Minister of Environment, including chairing the committee charged with the responsibility of writing the revised 1992 environmental impact assessment guidelines. In 1997 while chief scientist for a $900 million oil project in Russia, The Moscow Central Committee, an equivalent organization to the Soviet Academy of Sciences, accepted his credentials after a stringent review.
For two years Ron was head of design and construction for the building of the largest water theme park in South America (30 million U.S.). In the last 14 years, he has concentrated his efforts on building his landscape architectural based design/build company headquartered in Bragg Creek, Alberta. The company SCOPE Projects Inc. has received national and local recognition for work in the creation of bacteria driven water features on golf courses, private homes and commercial developments.
As an administrative environmental law judge and Vice Chair Environmental Appeals Board, 1999-2012, Ron presided over the Water Resources and Environment Protection Acts. He appeared as an expert witness or prepared documentation for numerous Boards and Commissions including the US Federal Power Commission and committees of the US Senate.
Adam Vanderwoude

A member of SCOPE Projects since 2006, Adam has a Landscape Architectural Technology Diploma from NAIT and is a member of the (AALA) Technologist level. With 15 years’ experience in planning and construction, he has knowledge in a wide range of disciplines within the landscape industry. His portfolio is extensive including, large scale subdivision planning, commercial construction drawing packages, complex drainage solutions, and a variety of other specialized landscape projects. He has a thorough resume with involvement in design and project management across Alberta and BC. His construction experience includes, golf course features, engineered projects, custom water features, as well as implementation of numerous rural and high end residential master plan developments.
